I recently defended my doctoral dissertation, The Idealism of Life: Hegel and Kant on the Ontology of Living Individuals, in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. I work primarily on Kant, Hegel, and German Idealism, but I am also interested in many Early Modern thinkers (Descartes, Leibniz, Spinoza, Hume), as well as some Phenomenologists (especially Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty).
